Before the huge dinosaur parade in Wrexham last weekend (in aid of Nightingale House), we were invited to check out behind the scenes!
"Owen, I'm going to become a dinosaur". To be fair, it's not the most unusual thing Rob has said to his teammates at 73 Degree Films this year, but it's certainly up there. In 2021 the local production company have transformed Queen's Sq into a skatepark, chatted with top Esports players and even dated a glamour model.
"I'd heard about the Jurassic Live Parade and it sounded incredible, so I asked Sam Foulkes, the event producer, if we could have a look behind the scenes." - Rob Corcoran.
Sam said yes and on Friday last week, Rob, Owen and James headed over to a large unit near Wrexham, where the creatures are living, to create an unforgettable video.
During the final technical rehearsal they each had a go at becoming the T-Rex.
It's not every day you get to become a T-Rex is it? I loved dinosaurs when I was a kid, so in a strange way, it felt like a dream come true!
The parade took place on both Saturday and Sunday last weekend, raising money for Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham. Next up, the dinosaurs will be on a tour across the UK and Ireland beginning in March 2022.
The video is live now on the 73 Degree Films Youtube Channel where you can see the behind the scenes as well as the parade itself.
New videos are posted every Wednesday on the channel, featuring the best of entertainment from Wrexham and Wales.
